Fixed Course Option
Session 1: Tuesday 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Session 2: Wednesday 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
NOTE: some enrolment streams are made available to start on different days, but most start on Tuesdays. See below for available intakes, or contact our us to request a different timetable.
Flexible Course Option
Book your first session when enrolling.
Arrange your second session directly with your tutor at a convenient time.
The course typically takes 1 – 2 weeks to complete.
Course Structure
Session 1: Espresso foundations and milk texturing fundamentals.
Session 2: Advanced technique, workflow, and consistency.
Ends with a short Course Debrief — a guided reflection and feedback conversation (no formal assessment).
Optional Work Experience: Students may complete a short, real-world or simulated café experience at no extra cost, to gain authentic practice for their CV.
Opportunities may include demonstrating espresso preparation, customer service, and point-of-sale operation.
If live service opportunities aren’t available, the experience will be conducted in a simulated café environment.
Coffees prepared during training will only be served to customers once they meet café quality standards.
Certificate: Graduates receive a Certificate of Attendance, recognising completion of practical barista training hours.
